Best Books of 2017

It has been such an amazing year for books that I decided to do a little something different this year.  Instead of my short list, I am separating my favorites into categories.  This way, if you’re looking for a specific type of book or want to give a gift, it’s easier to sort through the choices.  I wish I had time to read everything, but these are my favorites from what I did read.

This Is How It Always Is and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo are two of my favorites this year as well! I could not put either of them down. I’ll have to check out the ones on your list that I haven’t heard about before.

Some of my other favorites this year were Stay with Me by Ayobami Adebayo, Beartown by Fredrik Backman, and Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. I’m also hoping to read Pachinko or Sing, Unburied, Sing before the year ends and I’ve heard great things about both of those.
